Annual Vehicle Inspection

This benefit applies to all Reality Health, Reality Plus, Reality Core and Reality Club members.

  • The annual vehicle inspection can only be done at participating Tiger Wheel & Tyre and Tyres & More stores.
  • The cost of the vehicle inspection is R95 and for the member’s own account.
  • By doing the annual vehicle inspection, you grant Tiger Wheel & Tyre and Tyres & More employees the permission to drive your vehicle for test purposes and/or to inspect it. The store cannot be held responsible for any loss and/or damage to the vehicle and/or articles left in the vehicle in the case of fire, theft or any other cause whatsoever, unless there was negligence on the store’s part.
  • Tiger Wheel & Tyre and Tyres & More will automatically upload the details recorded directly to Sanlam Reality to earn tier points. Sanlam Reality will then communicate directly with members about the points earned. Only Sanlam Reality members with a Santam personal insurance policy can earn tier points for this activity.
  • Please note: completing this vehicle inspection does not affect your Santam policy.

Discount Coupons

This benefit only applies to Reality Club and Reality Access for Sanlam Group Risk members.
The discount coupon benefit offers members discounts on a range of grocery items obtainable from a major retailer nationwide on a monthly basis.

  • Discount coupons are unique.
  • Discounts are redeemable only at selected* Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores nationwide.
  • Discount coupons are subject to stock availability.
  • Although Sanlam Reality will endeavour to provide a suitable variety of coupons and brands through its service provider on a monthly basis, there may be instances where a certain brand will feature multiple times.
  • Sanlam Reality will endeavour to provide coupons of which the rand discount amount is acceptable in relation to the value of the product.
  • Retail partners and brand owners have the final say on coupon availability.
  • Digital redemption is via USSD by dialling *134*20019# and following the on-screen prompts to select the relevant discount coupon.
  • The discount coupon is based on a 16-digit barcode number which is sent to the member via SMS upon request using the USSD.
  • The barcode number must be inserted at point of sale prior to making payment in order for the discount to be applied.
  • The barcode requested applies to the selected product only.
  • The barcode number must be provided to the cashier at the till before payment is made. In some instances, the cashier may insert the barcode or alternatively request that the member do so.
  • Mobile phone network reception is required in order to access the USSD. If the member is inactive for longer than 20 seconds on the USSD session, the session will timeout.
  • Sanlam Reality does not take responsibility for cellular phone network failure that may result in the SMS not reaching the customer.
  • There will be +- 35 different discount coupons to choose from every month.
  • There will be a limit of 5 coupons per item per member per month.
  • When using a Checkers Xtra Savings card and Sanlam Reality discount coupons at checkout, the higher discount will apply.
