Do I have to download the App to access my benefits

No, you don’t need to download the App in order to access all of your benefits, but the App is designed to give you access to key benefits on the go! In addition, there are some benefits that are exclusive to the App (see below). The Sanlam Reality App gives you access to the following benefits:

  • Nu Metro
  • Uber
  • Bidvest Premier Lounge
  • Personal Assistant
  • Independent Gyms & Studios

If you’re a Sanlam Reality member, you can log into the App using your South African ID number or your Sanlam Reality membership number.

The Sanlam Reality App is free to download and use as a Sanlam Reality member.

How do I download the App?

Go to your app store (iStore or Google Play Store) on your device. Search for ‘Sanlam Reality’ and download the Sanlam Reality App for free.

Which devices are able to download the App, and what software do I need to download the App?

    • Android: from 5.1-8
    • iOS: from 11.0 to the latest release.

I’ve deleted my App/changed phones – what happens to my information and data in the App?

Your App data will be automatically restored when you download the App to your new device.

My App isn’t working – help!

Can dependants on my Sanlam Reality membership use the App?

Yes, they can. Members and their dependants can log in with their membership numbers or their ID numbers, which means your dependants can access benefits within your Family membership option from the App on their own devices.

I’ve paid for a service or ticket through my App but haven’t received my booking codes – who do I contact?

The App isn’t logging my gym visits – what do I do?

Please contact the call centre on 0860 732 548/9 so that they can investigate the issue. In the meantime, please ask your gym or studio to manually log your visits.

Which benefits are exclusive to the App?

You can only access the Independent Gyms & Studios benefit in-App, and you can only activate your Uber benefit (once-off) in-App.

I’ve lost benefit vouchers/booking codes/tickets from my App’s wallet – how do I restore them?
